Multiple Attractions
My dad was always busy with work, and part of job includes trips to various states to attend seminars and workshops. He would usually be away for a week, however that whole week is not entirely devoted to work, his seminars and workshops proper would only be three days, and the rest of the days will be for sight-seeing and souvenir-shopping.
From all of the trips my dad had gone, there were three states he liked the best. One would be, Buffalo, NY, it is a waterfront city, being situated at the confluence of Lake Erie and the Buffalo and Niagara Rivers. The state also has twenty multiple parks which is accessible from any part of the city, and it also has a variety of public and private galleries. The other state that my dad liked was St. Louis, MO which also has many museums and attractions, with notable churches to be found throughout the city, such as the new and old cathedral, and the most popular attractions are the forest parks. And last but not the least, was Atlanta, GA, with its largest indoor aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and there were also a lot of museums and galleries. My dad really enjoys going to museums and galleries, and every trip he would bring pictures from his trips. He always said that the best way to study a state’s culture and history is by visiting its museums and galleries.
Supporting our kids
I really believe that the best way to teach our children self discipline, camaraderie, team work, motivation and sportsmanship is to encourage them to participate in Team Sports. And the best part of participating in sports is they are learning all these values while having fun at the same time, and gaining friendship through the process.
These are the reasons why I encourage my children to belong in Team Sports. There are so many Team Sports to choose from, like popular ball games such as Baseball and Softball, Football, Soccer and Volleyball. My son was really more into a physical sport, that’s why he chose to be active in Football. However, my daughter chose to try out for the Cheerleading team, she said that it was the best way to show her support for her brother, and at the same have fun with her friends. When it comes to sports, we support our children all the way.
